Pre-Assignment Instructions:
- To prepare you for this assignment, read content for modules 2-5 and follow the embedded learning activities.
Assignment Tasks:
Observe the child in the video recordings and complete the following tasks:
- Write an operational definition for the problem behaviours of aggression.
- Using a descriptive ABC recording form, record the ABCs for at least 3 occurrences of the problem behaviour. Record at least one event for each video.
- Analyze the ABC data and hypothesize the function and write a summary statement indicating the function and the reinforcement maintaining the problem behaviour.
- Review the attached functional assessment screening tool (FAST) and summarize the results of the questionnaire. Comment on whether or not these findings correspond to the results of the ABC data collected.
- Collect baseline data on the frequency of the problem behaviour over 3 separate recording periods (one for each video clip). Report the data in a table and graph the data.
- Submit your responses including the completed ABC recordings, data table and graph.
- Your assignment is to be submitted in MS WORD format. It should be submitted with the following guidelines:
- Include a cover page with the course code and course name, the assignment number, the title of your assignment, your student ID, your name, the instructor’s name, and the date the assignment is created.
